The place looked amazing and the food was amazing I got a reaper and a extra hot chicken sandwich the reaper was so spicy it burned my mouth just like expected and the Dave's sauce help with the heat will be coming back
It was okay. Chicken breading was hard and tasted bitter because over cooked. The fries were sweet due to seasoning. Cooked well but could not get past the flavor. Music was so loud you could barely hear the staff. Luckily it was nice out so we sat outside.

Very loud from the amount of people inside, the music and the setup of the build. Four main choices to pick from. 7 levels of spice from no spice to inferno. I got hot and my nose is draining and I'm sweating bullets. The workers are very friendly and welcome everyone through the door. Very busy even at 4pm. I can't imagine dinner rush on Fridays. I was working in Peoria, IL this week and noticed that Dave's Hot Chicken had recently opened a location in Springfield, IL. On my way back home to St. Louis, I decided to stop by and pick some up for my wife and me--we both love the place. I went on the soft launch opening and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The outside looked sick and so did the inside. The chicken sliders so actually amazing and the mac and cheese was so good as well. It's so worth it even tho it's expensive
I was over charged on the tip. I hit 10% but when added to my $30.00 bill they charged over $5.00. I did not catch it until I left. Service was great! Food was over seasoned if you are watching your salt stay far away. The tenders were large and Dave's sauce was good. I will not be returnin!

whoever the manager is started off with an attitude and left with one. It's stinking of no leadership. as far as Dave's Hot go this is like 3rd or 4th location i've been to and food was alright not the best Dave's hot i've had. But I will say it was one of the best interior i've seen.

Had to wait 18 minutes for my order. 8/16/25 @ 5:15pm. Was the only person on line when order placed. Asked for my order to be just the chicken & bun - specifically asked for it to be plain- no cheese , no sauce - nothing on it !! Did not get it that way !! Order was corrected , but how hard is it to understand the phrase "Just Plain" ?

Reply to business owner's response: Brett, I appreciate you responding, but I got the same response from a review I put on Google, and when I went to the website you referenced, I just got a fairly generic reply. Understand, I'm not asking for my meal to be comped or any coupons or anything like that.
