Good flavor. Good service. Food came out fast and hot, pun intended. The "hot" was too hot for my husband. The medium was just right. I would return.
I was really impressed at how this popular restaurant lived up to the hype. The chicken truly was breaded, seasoned, and fried to order, and that makes it worth the wait that you will have. Even if you don't like "hot" chicken, they have a version with no spice. My other favorites were the mac & cheese and the crinkle fries which were seasoned really well. I really wanted to try one of the milkshakes, but the machine wasn't working unfortunately.
The hot chicken is blisteringly hot and the seasoning tastes a bit like packaged taco mix. The fries were super crispy yet sprinkled with hot seasoning. A little pricey for fast food. Don't see myself coming back.

Very unserious workers and below average service, mac and cheese was somehow overcooked and smelled of a burnt flavor, the sandwich was good though which completely kill the review. The location is very packed so I don't blame them completely but absolutely not worth the hype.

If it was a zero star I will give Dave's Hot chicken zero star, went last wednesday, thinking I was ordering bone-in chicken, judging by the sign on the building, find out it was chicken BITES"chicken pebbles," sauce? McDonald's sauce no pickle relish mixed in, seasonings? Horrible!!!! Waste of money???? YES!!! Will I go back? HE?? NO!!!!

Ordered lunch for 30 people one day in advance. Showed up to get the food and after waiting 20 minutes they finally told me my food was given to the wrong person. They were not even checking phones for order verification. They called the general manager, he told them they could not remake the food that they had to call whoever took it and asked them to bring it back. I'll never go back to Dave's hot chicken! No refund given as of now and no response from the management team.
