We are visiting Alabama, have never had Dave's. I really liked it! My husband says his chicken was SUPER salty. I had mozzarella, Mac n cheese and chicken bites. I really enjoyed everything. We also had a two sandwich meal with fries. I liked the fries and his sandwich but it was a little over seasoned. We arrived and there was a girl waiting to take our order. I didn't love that she was wearing gloves, sweeping, cleaning tables and handling the food/shakes/ cups.... The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. Overall ... read more

this rating is actually a 3.5. My husband got a hot box that was supposed to have two strips in it with four sliders, two pieces of mozzarella. There are no chicken strips only chicken bites. And only two sliders. I got the 10 piece chicken bites and I guess they count fried chicken skin as a bite. They look pretty sad...... I will say the reason why they're gonna get a 3.5 is the flavor was amazing, their ambience is great. Food has a good temperature and taste. The wait time is awful. The environment is a fun ode to the Montgomery area. If they improve on service time, they'd be a 4 star.

I'm going to give this a 4 star because the employee taking and bagging orders was exceptionally polite and working hard, but my gosh, get some more help around lunch rush hour. Clearly many people have commented on the wait time, so this is a recurring problem. The wait time really warrants a 1 star. It's bad enough to prevent people from coming back even though the food is fantastic, albeit very highly priced, but what isn't these days

Food was not bad, but not great. I ordered a large side of ranch the cost was 3.99 fine. I had the order to go. When I got home ranch was all in my bag. The per sealed container was opened on one side. It had a printed sticker on top of it. The young lady seemed to have been checking the order, but she did not do a very good job of it. The food is not worth the price to go by a second time. That is just my honest opinion.
