Slowest restaurant I've ever been to in my life. I ordered one slider and it took over and hour to get it. The place wasn't even packed.

Walked in around 1:35 on a Saturday. There is a milky liquid on the floor by the ordering desk with a wet floor sign propped on the order desk. Ordered and sat down at an available table that was dirty. The "where's my food" TV said our food was ready and when we went up to the desk to check on it, it wasn't ready. Our food then disappeared from the where's my food TV. We finally got our food after going back up to the counter at 2:16. Not trying to hurt all of the tik toker's feelings but this was terrible. Tried a variety of different flavors and items AND it did not meet the hype at all. Chicken didn't taste fresh at all. Half of it was cold. The seasoning taste like white people taco night taco seasoning lol Wingstop beats this by a landslide with their frozen tenders. Canes has no seasoning and still taste better than this. Service was fine but the food and presentation just isn't it. What a disappointment.

I'm going to only review the food. Very disappointing. The staff was exceptional. The food not worth the hype for me. Ordered the slider and fries. Drink strawberry lemonade slushee. Fries were great, and I do not like fries. My one slider meal to me was overpriced. The chicken itself didn't taste seasoned. I had lite heat and that was fine. Drizzle of hot honey. The outer part of the chicken was just overkled w seasoning. Just putting a ton of seasoning on the chicken didn't make it flavorful. I can check this off... read more

First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken. Main issue at Montgomery location, is the service is extremely slow. We ordered at 2:42 and received our food at 3:16, and our order was incorrect, but we made it work because we didn't want to wait another 30min to get it fixed. Restaurant was also not stocked very well..they were out of forks and the drink station had no lids. Trash cans were overflowing..we had to set our trash on top of the can ..as both cans were completely full. This location needs help. And the prices...$62 for fa... read more

If you ever see a Dave's Hot Chicken restaurant and want to try it because it's new and a little different than all the other chicken places around. DO. NOT. DO. IT. You will find yourself standing around waiting for over an hour on food that turns out to be mediocre at best.

Dave's (not) Hot Chicken. They were out of hot chicken. They should also name Dave's Slow Chicken. I think their chickens were be hatched while we waited and waited. At least we had plenty of time to wipe down our own dirty greasy tables. So there is that. All this aside, the server that took our order was very pleasant.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TIME AND EFFORT this was the worst experience. It had taken 30 minutes to get a side of bites for my nephew. he ordered buffalo. We waited 30 minutes for the wrong order to make the matter worse the chicken was cold a looked old it doesn' t even smell like fried chicken in the restaurant.

Massive Disappointment!!! Although I had seen this restaurant in other cities, I finally tried it in Montgomery. Even still, I waited a month or so after the Grand Opening as the lines were long and out of control. This type of buzz and excitement can be expected of a new establishment, especially, when the aesthetics are new and shiny. However, that's where the enjoyable part ended.
