The invitations were great! Once I learned how to tie the bow correctly it was a breeze.
Got a beautiful dress from David's Bridal. The attendant was very helpful and informed, and alterations did a good job as well.
I nearly cried the entire time.
I am a bride that lives in FL and have a bridesmaid that lives in VA and had to get her dress up there. The services was horrible and the people were rude...even when I had to speak with them on the phone.
Terrible service. I had to come back for three dress fittings, and the fabric was practically ruined by their seamstresses. I paid a great price for my dress, but the cost of the alterations was half the cost of the dress! The alterations staff was not very helpful, and the bridal consultant pushed for dresses I specifically did not ask for and did not like. Be strong in your opinions if you go here, as they are very pushy in selling you the dress but not helpful once you own it.
This review is for the Woodbridge, VA location. David's Bridal is great on an off-day and for someone who wants a lot of somewhat reasonably-priced dresses in one store. I found what I was looking for within 5 dresses, but it was a mess getting to that point. The woman helping us was unorganized and trying to help too many people at once. The seamstress, however, was very good. You have to make an appointment with her for the alterations, etc. but she's very talented. I loved my dress! And if I didn't love the dress. I probably would have gone somewhere else. I like David's Bridal, just not the one in Alexandria. I had my bridesmaids get their dresses from there and they were pleased with the customer service. I think this location just needs a little update on the art of customer service.
Let me start out by saying I love, love, loved my dress. It had that wow statement I was looking for and looked like a couture dress. I also liked all the incentives and coupons that came with buying your dress from there. That being said, David's Bridal Springfield has the most horrible service I have ever encountered. Appointments and all, they stuffed my maid of honor, my mother, and I in one dressing room. I figured I would start with Davids bridal since the prices were so good and if I couldn't find anything I was gonna move to the boutiques. No lie 2 nd dress I tried on was the one. It was perfect and didnt look cheap or tacky. It was a nice simple satin trumpet gown with minimal detailing.
