DO NOT SHOP THIS LOCATION!!! I bought a dress I loved from David’s bridal in Merrillville, IN back in October 2021. I heard some very negative stories about the alterations at that location and thus decided to try going to the Lafayette, IN location. My first appointment was March 1, 2022. I have had a total of 6 appointments as of today and have a 7th one scheduled. When I went for my second appointment on April 19, 2022 my dress would barely zip up. Erin Rooze was extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs. She didn’t make me feel rushed or pushed into choosing something! She just brought in what I wanted and we worked our way to finding THE dress! Thank you so much Erin, you’re amazing.
As the maid of honor for my sister, I was expecting going to get her wedding dress to be very chaotic, but it went very smooth! Erin was specifically very helpful! Even was able to find a maid of honor dress the same day! Everyone that helped my sister find her wedding dress were amazing!
The employees are very nice and helpful. The check system when you pay with a check is rediculous and needs to be fixed as it takes entirely too long to process. Second the charge for alterations is very expensive and should be re-evaluated. A person should be told upfront about how much alterations would be to see if they want to get alterations done there or get them done somewhere else.
My consultant was wonderful! She explained things to me, and at the end she and another consultant worked together to create a 'Wow factor' for my family and I. They made us all feel special!
