I purchased my dress in March and was rocking it at the gym, the weight just was dropping off. I ended up getting sick for 3 months which put a huge damper on my health so I wasn't able to go to the gym. Finally after 3 months I started back and then suddenly and unexpected my dad passed away. Today I went into David's Bridal to get a dress knowing that they may not have something in my budget and I was completely wrong. Jessica and Jackie were so helpful in helping me find a dress for my wedding day and didn't even bat an eye when I told them that my wedding would be in 6 weeks. They were incredibly helpful and very kind to myself and to my friend and helped me find the perfect dress for my day which I love. I went to David's Bridal with my sister to look for her wedding dress, after she had had a few negative experiences other places, with other people telling her that the kind of dress she wanted wouldn't work for her and insisting only a ballgown would. She was pretty sad about the entire thing, and I was worried David's Bridal would be more of the same.
