David's Bridal has been the biggest disappointment of my entire wedding/dress planning experience. I would never go there again. They altered my dress... I asked for a SMOOTH sweetheart neckline and they literally bunched it together and sewed it up. If that wasn't enough now they are claiming that they absolutely will not steam or clean my dress because they have no record that I had it altered there and it's a liability ...I mean I guess I wouldn't want to claim that alteration work either...but really? This was the worst location I've ever been into the only nice halefull person was my stylist the greater was rude as can be every time I went in and all said and done the reason I didn't use them for my wedding
The employees could really use a lesson in customer service. They had 1 sales person working with 3-4 brides/bridal party at one time which made you feel rushed it was also very time consuming having to wait on them to run back and forth between everybody. They are also very pricey I paid $159 for a brides maid dress then was told it would be another $75 to $100 for alterations. Needless to say I went elsewhere to get my alterations done and paid $25. I would not recommend David's bridal.
Not a very large selection, prices are kind of high, there is a terribly long wait just to try anything on and the saleswoman made it pretty clear that she felt like we didn't belong there
A Seamstresses named "Mary (@David's Bridal - Greensboro, NC): Today I went to have my wedding dress altered. I walked in the store, feeling overwhelmed &sad because my mom was a seamstress for 27 years and all I could think about was if she was here she could alter my wedding dress. None of the sales girls "LISTEN" to the style you want and bring you everything BUT what you've asked for. They sell you a gown SO big that they need to do alterations that cost more than the gown! WHAT A SCAM OPERATION! They are all friendly and nice when you purchase your bridal gown but the ALTERATIONS MANAGER needs to be FIRED! She is an angry woman who does not like to be questioned! If you go get your gown there, order a size that fits, never buy off the rack. If they tell you they can't order your size or it won't be ... read more
