I went to David's Bridal hoping to find a beautiful princess dress for prom. Unfortunatly for me, they didn't have a wide variety of dress styles to choose from. The majority of the dresses I looked at were fairly plain and straight. Their prices seemed reasonable and the staff was fairly friendly but nothing caught my eye. There was nothing wrong with David's Bridal but I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone who was looking for a fancy or princess type dress.More »

It All Depends on Your Sales Associate... Meredith in Columbia, MO is amazing. My MOH and I went in to try on my gown. I picked the first one I saw, but I tried others on... but I just knew. Meredith put up with us, and we are a mouthy pair. She joked with us, got excited about accessories. We even picked out my MOH's dress. There were some other workers at this location that seemed like total snobs... I must say we lucked out with Meredith! I even took my dress home that day. DO NOT GO HERE if you're getting married or if you're in a wedding. The service is truly awful, from getting down the date of the wedding wrong to telling me that a sash won't be in until AFTER the wedding. These people are ridiculous.

I made an appointment to try on dresses, no-one helped! My mother and mother-in-law went through dresses on the floor and found one that I liked. I purchased the dress and it came and nobody called me. Two weeks before I left (I am way to trusting) I called the store to check on the dress. It had been in for a few weeks. Therefore, I had to pay extra for alterations ($370.00!) I came in to pick up the dress (after the first alteration) and it was to big! They still needed to take 2 inches off each side, and she blammed it on... read more

David's Bridal is terrible! Avoid at all costs! Planning a wedding is hard enough without having to deal with this laughable excuse for a bridal shop. I have dealt with people inviting whoever they want to our wedding, girls mad about not being in the wedding party...I'm even planning a wedding from across the country... but having to deal with David's Bridal is by far the WORST part of the wedding planning process. David's Bridal is DON"T GET YOUR DRESS FROM HERE I was looking for a wedding gown and I had made an appointment. I was early and excited but had to wait forever for them to assign me to someone. Then she took me over and showed me where my size was, and I told her I was a different size. She argued with me and she ended up being wrong. She took me to the dressing room and left me with a friend. After 30 minutes of trying to figure out how the dress went on, she told me it was on wrong. NO HELP!!! don't get your bridesmaid dresses here! you get what you pay for...8 weeks before my wedding and one girl hadn't ordered her dress...had to re-order ALL the dresses in a different style because they couldn't get one extra in on time! think twice about going here!!!
