I absolutely loved my wedding dress! I had a 2-in-1 convertible, tiered dress that was perfect for my wedding. I bought it at David's and also had it altered there.When I was trying to choose a dress, the first consultant I had made me feel rushed. I didn't have an appointment, which may explain why she was busy helping other people. But she also said that I had to definitely choose my top 5 that day or else. My dress came in extremely earlier than expected. My consultant was great, but not everyone is on the same page in the store.

They were great except for the mishap with my dress alterations but they were able to fix it and I was able to go back the following week and pick i up. Problem solved. Thanks again you guys for the wonderful dresses

David's Bridal of Springfield, VA is just about what you'd expect for a major chain/budget wedding dress store. Most people go with DB for the convenience of their being at least one in every city, DB also has a huge variety of styles/brands, and they provide discounts for you and the wedding party and are partnered with Men's Wearhouse. If you want higher catered service, go to a smaller boutique, as it is hit or miss here.With this store in particular, some sales reps are great, some are awful and over the top or too tired... read more

My dress was beautiful but thier prices for alterations were outrageous. I had to take it elsewhere.

I used Davids Bridal for my dress, and bridesmaid dresses because of all the locations (as my bridesmaids were scattered across the state), and while it does offer a wide variety of of dresses and colors, their customer services does seem more like a department store than bridal boutique at times when they are busy. I would advise going on a weekday, if possible to get the best service. I visited to two separate David's Bridal stores (Ann Arbor, MI and Wilmington, DE) thinking my experience would different. I wasn't very impressed with the staff in either location. I felt they really didn't listen to what I said about the type of dress I was wanted. I actually brought in a specific list of dresses I really wanted to try on and instead of getting those, they would come back with completely different dresses that were much more expensive and not at all what I was looking for. I found my dress on my first visit. I tried on a few dresses and then the very nice consultant showed me a dress she thought I would like and I did!

Overall I had a fine experience at David’s Bridal. You will not get the same personal attention that you would get at a smaller salon, and should expect your consultant to be working with other wedding parties at the same time. Before my appointment they also asked me to go online, create an account, and pick out my favorite dresses on there so they could pull them up in the store. However, when I came in their computer system was down and I had to start all over again. I would recommend trying on dresses elsewhere first so ... read more
