I used David's Bridal in Springfield, VA for my bridesmaids' dresses and a wedding day emergency kit. They specialize in wedding gowns, prom dresses, and bridesmaid dresses, so they have a lot of products and colors available and they're easy to sort through and customize. Let me preface this with the fact that I already had a wedding gown, purchased 10 months prior, from Ellie's Bridal of Alexandria. That dress was incorrectly measured and came two sizes too small. After an awful experience with the owner, in addition to awful reviews in regard to alterations, I felt it was necessary to get a new gown. Mimi was my consultant and she was wonderful! I came to David's Bridal to look for a wedding dress for the first time ever, and walked out with my dream dress. As a plus size bride, I was worried I wouldn't have many options to try on. But Mimi found some GORGEOUS gowns that I fit into! She was honest, caring, and hilarious. I felt totally relaxed with her and pulled the trigger on my dream dress. Couldn't have been more pleased!

From my first trip of just getting over shell shock of that fancy a dress for this blue jean girl to my final fitting I was so impressed with the staff and their patience and skill - my consultant Erin was the best! My dress was beautiful and comfortable!

David's was the first (and ended up being the only) place I tried on dresses. Joy was my consultant and was awesome! I told her the style I had in mind and she found several dresses that matched my taste perfectly! I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on and am so excited to wear it on my wedding day!

I wasn't expecting much from my experience with David's Bridal, but I was pleasantly surprised. Mainly because the attendant who helped me the first time was stellar. I wish I still remembered her name, I would post it everywhere, but she knew her business, knew the store, and knew how to make the most out of my appointment. SHE is the reason I found my perfect dress. It was even under-budget!
