I'm totally okay with not having some fancy, designer, crazy gown. You'll really only wear the dress once, afterall. I'm sure you could probably find a close match for that designer dress at David's Bridal. I got mine $100 off at a sale because I'm just not picky about that stuff. I suspect however that they're sizes are not true; they ordered a size smaller than i usually am and I definitely had it taken in a LOT during alterations.

I ordered wine set including bottle stopper and opener designed as a bride and a groom. It looked really great and my guests really liked it. I had smaller wedding, so I could go for more expensive favors, so the set was around $7.

My first day at David's Bridal, I was very disappointed. They were so busy that my bridal party and I were ignored most of the time. My maid of honor helped me more than the staff. I was told that I could order a certain dress in a different color but the next time I went in, they told me that i couldn't order it. Apparently the dress was discontinued. On my second visit, we were ignored a lot again and they woman that did wait on us was rude. All in all, I did find my dress, and my bridal party was able to get their dresses... read more

I am sooo glad I did not get my dress from them!!! However my bridesmaid dresses did come from multiple David's Bridals from across the nation!! I picked David's Bridal as the easy access for all my girls and with a large wedding party of 9 I knew this would be important....oh how I was wrong!! The dresses were orginially selected at the Springfield, VA Store which messed it up royally, but I can't completely blame them for eveyrthing. Pros: 1. Large Selection: if you want a big selection of dresses because you don't have any idea what style wedding dress you want, David's Bridal is the place! This is a sizable store with a large selection of different styles, colors (white, off white, beige, cream, etc.) 2. David's Bridal staff help me a lot.. only 4 months away from my wedding and found my dress on the first try.. my consultant name is Connie. she gave me her honest opinions bout what she thinks about the dress I tried on. also Ms. Josephine she always tells me which stuff to get without spending to much money.Overall I love my dress,Accesories,Veil & Shoes..

I have some mixed feelings about David's bridal, and would recommend them for the budget-minded bride, and their good selection--but it is not an enjoyable shopping experience. The store is always packed, and you can feel, even with an appointment, rushed in and rushed out. Also, do NOT give them your email. I got the Vera Wang dress. We went on weekday ( Tuesday) , they let me tried about 20 dresses at ones. They let me try all the dresses list that I print out and they also bring out the similar ones. so i was happy with that, i heard a lot store only let you try 5~6 dress per visit.

Although people seem to have strong opinions about David's Bridal, I have to say that I found the absolute perfect dress there...for $99. It was a show-stopper with a plunging back--very elegant, sophisticated, and comfortable (!). Love, love, love it. The only alteration I needed was the hem--otherwise fit perfectly. So, although the store may seem chaotic, there are definitely benefits to dealing with the chaos.
