I found THE ONE at David's Bridal in Norfolk, VA and met with Nurdan Karaoz for alterations yesterday. Nurdan was a delight from start to finish. I wasn't one of those girls who wanted to get married--I never imagined my ideal wedding dress. As such, I had no idea what I wanted/needed when it came to alerations. Nurdan was incredibly insightful about adding a corset, finding a belt to match the headband and recognizing where the dress needed to be taken in for the best fit. I have to give a huge shout out to the Norfolk, Virginia location- especially the young lady who helped me who also has the same name!! Brittanie Clark was absolutely wonderful. Not only did we bond over our same names, but she did not hesitate one bit to assist with different looks and accessories. She actually told me she wasn't a stylist but the front desk person and a floater. I told her "you are MY stylist". When I go back for a second look and try on, I don't want anyone but her.
