The customer service at this David’s bridal was terrible. I bought my dress and did alterations at the David’s in Tampa, FL, however, I got married in Wilmington. I called this location a week ahead (of bringing my dress in) to set up a complimentary steaming. The lady was super nice and assured me that this would be done before my wedding. When I brought my dress in, they looked at me like there was no way my dress could be steamed in 6 days and really harped on who I spoke to on the phone so they could "train their staff p... read more

As a Maid of Honor to my best friend marrying the love of her life, I am suppose to make things easy for her. Stress free. However, yesterday I had to tell her my dress didn't fit. My first visit at David's Bridal I was wowed, I was excited, was told so many great things. Especially being told that as long as my girls ordered their dresses by the end of December they would have their dresses within a month. But instead of waiting we go ahead and order the dresses not even two weeks into November and guess what now the dresses will not be here until April 3rd and yes the wedding is April 8th. I had two appointments there yesterday one for my dress and another for my bridesmaids. I unfortunately live in WV and did my appointment here because all of my bridesmaids live in Myrtle Beach, SC and wanted it to be convenient for them. However it was no where near that my appointment was at 130 the lady that I checked in with was very nice and courteous. Didn't get the friendliest service upon picking my wedding dress up from alterations. I'm big on customer service, so my stars are based mostly on that aspect. Selection is ok.
An absolutely terrible experience. I had a 7pm alterations appointment for my final dress fitting and I didn't get my dress on until 7:30. The alterations lady, Lorraine, was told her 7pm appointment was here and she "forgot". She walks out after 30 mins and goes "i completely forgot...I looked at the clock and realized I should've had someone". The 1st fitting with her wasn't any better. I wish I could do a negative amount of stars. Just gonna say that was a HORRIBLE experience! After driving 50 plus miles and standing around for an hour waiting for a dressing room we watched the ladies at the greeting table send back ladies AFTER us on the waiting list! We will NEVER be shopping at this store again!!
If they had a minus stars that's what I would give you. Never was called to let me know that my dress was "IN". Over 17 days that dress sat in the store and no one called. Today is the 17th of August and I was finally told my dress was in.The girl on the phone said" We do not call more because the customer doesn't like it" WTHeck I was never called to begin with. SO livid I could just scream. Iwill never use your store ever, have such a bad taste in my mouth. LIVID!
