Pleasantly surprised. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom.
The room was nice with the amenities we needed. The staff was great, and Tess really went the extra mile to help us. If you want to cook or prepare your own food, I would recommend that you ask at the front desk for utensils, pots, dish soap, etc. We were also able to take a free shuttle to the Mayo Clinic, which helped a lot. I would recommend the Days Inn to anyone.
Good deal for the price! The room was clean with very comfortable beds, even the roll a way we used. The price was good and the kitchen area was nice to have, although we didn't use it except for the fridge to keep drinks cold

Clean, comfortable, well appointed, good location, good price. Two problems: 1) cleaning staff did great job except did not remove items dropped in tub to be replaced and did not provide more -more available at front desk but still stuck with soiled linen which I moved from tub to wash basin and back in order to use those things - nasty for four days. 2) need a little better directions to motel as Google maps shows exit from hwy as County Rd 117 and Hwy sign as 40th St - not your fault but very inconvenient. Quaint location -- very good sleep Pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff to greet you. Convenient location to shopping. Was tricky to get here from the highway. If I were passing through Rochester, Minnesota again, I would certainly stay at this Days Inn location.
Ok stay. Don't use the shuttle!! We were in town for a wedding and shuttle service was provided by the hotel to the wedding venue. Shuttles were scheduled to leave at 3:30 and 4:00 for a 4:30 wedding. We caught the 4:00 shuttle for what we believed to be a 10-15 ride (due to checking on GPS on our phones). The driver obviously did not know where he was going as he had to u-turn twice and was driving way too fast once he realized that we were going to be late.
