The cabin was great! Just secluded enough to enjoy the scenery but not too far away from all of the locations and stops we wanted to make. It was plenty of room for our family of 6, kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook our meals and everyone loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
This cabin gives a lot of room for relaxing and entertaining together or separating out to do your own thing without interfering with one another. There's lots of stairs so we all got our steps in! Only having 5 rooms instead of 6, as described, did present some issues. The upstairs bedrooms were heated by space heaters and we learned the hard way that if you turn the bedroom lights on while the heaters were going, it'll trip breakers (panel is behind the door on the main level, leading to the basement). One of many excellent cabins in this area just up the road from Deadwood
It was our first time booking a rental property through airbnb. We had a great experience and loved our stay in Rapid City. It was a short drive to Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands. Also, there is a beautiful park nearby which was nice for walks in the evening.
