The cabin is beautiful but I have to caution people with large vehicles that the driveway is very steep and requires a sharp turn. One suggestion I would make is more outdoor seating. There is a very small picnic table, and a few rattan folding chairs. Nothing comfy for lounging. The clubhouse is definitely a nice perk, with game tables and a heated pool.

Lone star Lodge was great! They really thought of everything you might need during your stay. Check in was easy, code sent on arrival day. They left us cookies and coffee, nice touch! Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, garbage bags, paper towels, even a crockpot. Also had a few spices for use.
