They range from small things like getting the truck on empty with the gas light on and having to raz the sales guy hey no gas in the truck to get about 20 bucks of gas in the thing to the transmission going out with in a week of purchasing the vehicle. The buying process was quick and easy, everything after has been an absolute clown show.
Without a doubt the worst experience I’ve had in 20 years of auto purchases was at Denny Menholt Nissan. I’m very happy that I didn’t buy here based on employee behavior. I used the Nissan website to ask for quotes / dealers on a Frontier Pro 4X. Rein Gillstrom was my sales person. Prior to arriving Rein asked for the usual, a copy of my drivers license, my credit card number to put a deposit on an incoming truck so it wouldn’t be pre-sold before it arrived on the lot. stay far away from this place! pushy aggressive con artist sales stuff i did not need or want but the only to get out of office is to say yes. now im trying to cancel stupid warranty and all i get is voice mail when i call never a return call i sent certified letter and still no reply... worst customer service. the place gives Denny Menholt a bad name. again do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but there.

I would not recommend Denny menholt Nissan because there wasn't very many choices and other choices were not offered. Also, the inside of the vehicle was dirty . I don't care if a person buys a vehicle as is ,I would make sure the vehicle is clean before sold. Also, I put a decent amount of money down and the tank was close to empty when given to me. I found the car I wanted on their website. When I went down to look at it (no pic online) and test drive, it hadn’t been detailed yet. Still liked it & bought it, but couldn’t take it yet so they could detail it & fix a broken taillight cover. Told they’d be doing it in their own shop. After picking up the car, there was still water in the roof inside, dirt spots all over the steering wheel and side panels inside, and my son found a bandaid in the back! Unfortunately, they choose not to take care of the customer. I have a 2010 Nissan Rogue with the CVT. Because of the problems they have had they Nissan increased the warranty to 10 years and 120,000 miles. So at 8 years old and 120,860 they will not honor the warranty as my transmission has failed. Not even willing to work with me. Call Consumer affairs was the response. Well, you sold me the vehicle and I expected customer service. � WARNING: Denny Menholt Billings Nissan currently does not have a certified diesel mechanic in their service department to do warranty work on any diesel vehicle they sell. The closest diesel certified Nissan mechanic is out of Bozeman. Not only will they (Billings Nissan) not work on your diesel vehicle (under warranty), they will do NOTHING to assist getting it serviced through Bozeman.
