Dr. Powe couldn't be nicer and as a physician myself he has an excellent way of easing patients. Very knowledgeable and affable!! I have recommended 3 of my family members to him.
Dr. Powe was very gentle, surprisingly quick and thorough in preparing and extracting my wisdom teeth. When warning him of my anxiety with Doctors and sensitivity to needles, he listened and spoke to me in a way that I could understand and that made me feel comfortable. His technique of using music to help ease the tension was REALLY helpful. I trusted he knew what he was doing, and before I could wonder if he'd even started, HE WAS DONE! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Powe to anyone seeking dental work
I couldn't believe he was done with my wisdom teeth!! He plays music and is really nice!!
This young man was gentle and knowledgeable in dealing with my son. He walked us through the care to fix my little ones teeth, and he made sure we understood what was going to be done and what to expect. He also was very sweet and checked on him days later to see that there was no complications.
Excellent bedside manner, couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Powe placed and implant on me and outside of the initial numbing I didn't feel a thing. It was super fast and completed before I knew it.
I needed a badly damaged tooth pulled (#4). I was expecting a painful dentist visit. Dr. Powe pulled this tooth with no pain. He's very personable and the follow up care instructions were thorough.
Dr. Patt is a new dentist at the Dentistry in Irwin PA where I have gone for 5 years. I went in for a crown in January 2025. I had lots of pain and went back 3 times to resolve the pain. He said the crown was too high and ground it down along with back molar and front teeth to correct the misaligned bite which was incredibly painful all 3 times. After the 4th visit, he had me go for a root canal and gave me an antibiotic. After the root canal, I went back for the permanent crown. He said I had gum growth and had to scrape my... read more
Messed up my crown. Had severe constant pain since day one when the temporary crown was placed. Contacted The Dentistry in Irwin PA, where he is currently working. He had me come in one time, claimed it was a high bite, and refused to listen to me when I said I didn't think that was the issue. Shaved the extremely sensitive, painful tooth down without any numbing whatsoever. Told me to call back the following week if I was still in pain. I got a crown from him and it has fallen out every 2 months for the last 2 years. I can't find him to fix it and my insurance won't cover a new one for another year or so. It's warped my teeth and destroyed the root of that tooth. If anyone knows where this guy is please let me know.
