Good service. However main contact was with Derek Jackson who appeared to handle the bulk of the transaction. Gordon was more in the background and never spoke to him.

Ready on time. Pay off debts in different ways because I am still dealing with loans a week agter close trying to get responses from other banks and student loans for checks I had to mail.

Timing beyond your or anyone else's control regarding the interest rates left a sour taste in our mouths.

Timing is definitely cyclical with rates and 2023 was an unfortunate year for all, regarding higher rates. There are inquiries on my credit. This agent misunderstood the relationship of myself and the co applicant. Once he realized his mistake, he informed me I would not be able to qualify, and therefore I would not have applied or agreed to any kind of credit checking, but we had been assured I could get a loan if I allowed it and that was not true. I’m disappointed in the late fee charge and how Megan never gave us a closing date until 2 days prior and we could not make that date work with kids and work schedules. She made it sound like she was doing us a favor by splitting it with us even though we should not have been charged at all. There was no communication on the closing date in any of our emails until she basically said- “great news, your closing date is on Friday.”
