It was great the staff is friendly and wait time was next to nothing.
Everyone was friendly and polite. Doctor took the time to ask me questions and answer my questions.
The PA was one I had not met before. She proceeded to tell me that my rash was because my blood sugar was too high. She lectured me about the dangers of diabetes. Mind you, I am 69 years old. Also, she did all this from the opposite side of the room having never looked at my rash. I always assumed a dermatologist should probably look at a rash to diagnosis it, guess not. Anyway, I said as much to her and she walked over and glanced at it and said "oh, that's just excema." I said so not because of my blood sugar then... read more
Specifically asked for a physician, but ended up with a PA. PA was very hurried. Seemed unsure what side effects the biologic that was recommended after being in the room for less than a minute might cause. Did not seem interested in working up the related condition. There were two issues needing addressed and she was gone after the first one and I had call her back. As a healthcare provider myself I found this visit disturbing and felt more like a customer in a mcdonalds drive through.
I felt like I was cattleI, I got branded and I was out. Before they looked at me, she was already diagnosing me when she opened the door. I was like what, what's going on and before I knew it she was out. I thought it would be more thorough then that.
