An 11am appointment and finally leaving the building at 5pm. My 88 year old father just sitting around for hours waiting for results of CT SCANS. 6 hours!! Between seeing doctor and getting results. Unbelievable. Not sure what was going on there at the Wynn location that day but seriously hope no one is ever subjected to the torment of waiting around that long again.
Did not put the IV in right and some of the Contrast got into my arm. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I had a CT scan on Saturday at three. It took two days for the swelling to go down.
Visit to Desert Radiology consisted of 2 CT scans and an X-Ray. Preparation for the scan included my taking a barium solution prior to the scans. All the instructions regarding this preparation were given to me in fully understandable language. The scans therefore went off with out a hitch. The visit (appointment) also occurred on a Saturday. What convenience.
