RecommendedDrove 30 minutes with a sick kid and was late 1 minute and Desert Shores wouldn't see my sick daughter. Couldn't believe it! They lost 3 patients. Don't Go they do not care about your child! We took my daughter to a doctor that cared and she had a high fever with strep throat! Desert shores turned away a child with a high fever with strep because of 1min. They Do Not Care About Your Kids! Highly don't recommend
I do not recommend this pediatrician office. They have messed up our account multiple times with billing despite going back-and-forth and in circles they have zero empathy. They let me know today that they do not have to notify patient’s/parents of policy changes. My daughter was refused her sick visit today and account closed and sent to collections without being notified. Oh but they said that’s a courtesy and they don’t need to communicate that with me. The providers are amazing but the front desk staff and billing department are terrible. They tell you you have to fill out certain forms and then bill your insurance for those forms. insurance will decline it and then they charge you for the forms. The billing department claims they can't remove the charges and the forms are necessary. They are billing you for paperwork. Check why you owe a balance before paying it. RecommendedMuch like any office, there are ups and downs. Medical staff, for the most part, are great. The nurses and assistants have great demeanor and bedside manner. The doctors are more disconnected and impersonable. Very much so, just checking a box. The Admin staff have a lot of disconnects and the management team and leadership have put fees in place to "nickle and dime" the patient. I hear great things about this office. I set up a wellness visit. Called my insurance and their office to confirm the cost of the visit. It was a yearly wellness checkup. It was literally a 10 minute visit. AFTER LEAVING THEIR OFFICE THEY MAIL ME A BILL SAYING I HAVE EXTRA COSTS. Apparently I was not allowed to speak to the doctor during the wellness visit. That costed her extra. I do not recommend them unless you want to be billed without any notice or explanation of what the cost is for.

Phone staff is extremely rude. Called to set up an appointment and was continually interrupted. I couldn’t finish a sentence without Beatrice continually cutting me off. Customer service is definitely not a strength of hers.
