I love the personal relationships that I have developed with Dr. Honeycutt, she knows my animals, knows my family. I appreciate the thoroughness of their practice, don't always like the prices that go with the thoroughness, but hey, I know my pets are getting the best care possible. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the practice, never smells like animals, always is fresh and clean, with a cup of coffee and people treats along with animals treats in abundance.

Business response:

Thank for the feedback!

We followed Dr. Scott when she moved to this clinic because she is a specialist in birds and we had one at the time. Elmo lived for almost 20 years and Dr. Scott took great care of him. We have had 2 cats. Our current cat, Bear is now a patient. They take great care of him and have been there for us in emergencies. I haven't compared prices of other vets, but, for us, the service we get from the Drs. and all the staff is worth it. I think those that complain about the cost of services may not realize that they do there own b... read more

Thank you for the very sweet review. We are lucky to have you and Bear as our client and we value our relationship very much.

I've been taking my cats here for two years, and I'm a big fan. When one of the cats got sick, Dr. Scott worked tirelessly to figure out what was going on, even going so far as to call a specialist for a consult. The whole staff there is just great, truly. Avoid going on Saturdays, if you can -- they do get backed up.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind review.

We adopted a doberman that had seen some rough times... He was picked up severely emaciated and hobbling with a significant leg/hip injury - most likely from an auto-strike. The rescue (HADR) dealt with the immediate issues the best they could and cared for him to a level that we could adopt. Part of that care included a FHO surgery - and when we got him, he would not use that leg. We were given some basic care instructions, but none of that really helped. Our vet suggested Dickinson AH for a regimen of physical therap... read more

The first and only time a doctor has actually come out to the lobby to greet me and see my pups before their surgeries. They fit us in on short notice after one of the so "called cheaper places down the road" jerked us around on an appointment. Like others said, they were not cheap for services, but they weren't outrageous either.

We have been using Dickinson Animal Clinic for several years now. They have been with us through the loss of two of our fur babies (Rocky -dog and Churchill - cat). Now we have 2 new puppies in addition to our 2 cats. Dr. Scott is our primary vet there and she is just the BEST! She is always very thorough in her exams and goes over everything to be sure we understand any recommended treatments and/or medications. She truly has a concern for both her pet patients and their owners. We completely trust her and her decisio... read more

I have been taking my 13 year old dog there for several years now. Dr. Scott is excellent and is always very thorough in her exams. She is very gentle with her pet patients so that they are not scared during the exam. Dr. Scott and her staff always treat your pet as if they are their own. Dr. Scott and her staff are also caring towards their pet parents, too. I recently had one of the staff there go ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me and my pet. I can never thank them enough for helping my dog Rocky get back to good health! ... read more

Best small animal vets in town. Good staff, several doctors, and offer a lot of services. They can even treat exotics, which is unusual. Services there are not the cheapest, but I do believe that you get good value for the money, and that your pet will get the best care. They also board dogs and cats - but I probably shouldn't mention that as I would hate for them to not have space for our dog Sonny!

I wrote a review on Dickinson Animal Hospital six days ago wherein I stated "overpriced is an understatement". I write to update and say that I had the medication price prescription totally wrong and don't want to discourage others from considering this veterinary business. While I still maintain that they're not cheap, they are nonetheless quality doctors and do treat the animals extremely well. If you believe in the philosophy of "you get what you pay for" then by all means keep Dickinson Animal Hospital on your short li... read more
