I had a broken neck. It manifested as pain in my midsection and sore arm. After all tests negative for stomach problems she should have called in other specialists for help. Ruined an entire year in pain!’

Dr. Carlson has virtually no bedside manner. In addition, he postponed or cancelled several of my appointments and delayed my endoscopy by two months. When I did finally get the procedure done, he didn't speak to me before or afterwards. He then kept delaying my follow up visits with him and wanted to refer me to his physician assistant (PA). I became so frustrated in trying to ascertain my next steps concerning my condition that I went to another gastroenterologist in another practice.

Phone number provided sends you to a call center with no way to connect with someone actually working in the office. Did not follow through with making an appointment because of this. Very frustrating.

I had beena patient of Dr. McDermott at her old practice. At her new practice, I had not one, but two appointments that were cancelled on me. This is simply ridiculous and not a good way to treat patients, especially when one is in need of a colonoscopy and high risk for colon cancer. After months of waiting then cancelling, then waiting, then cancelling, I've moving to a different physician.

Terrible, terrible terrible... checked into summerline hospital emergency room and was kept in the emergency room for 5 nights and only saw her twice until the nurse told me it was stomach infection! After 5 days stuck in the emergency bed(pubic area, no washing room, only restroom) and several CT scans, X-ray, endoscopy. It was a stomach infection and she wasn’t even inform the patient. She obviously have too many patients on her list(according to the nurses). The worst part is my son came to emergency room on the date I wa... read more

Er sent a stat referral over to the office and her office says it has to come from primary doctor. Not emergency doctor!! This is an emergency. Will not get any referrals to here. Don’t need crappy service and I see the reviews now and it makes sense

Highly recommend you ask for someone else. I was admitted to Centennial Hills Hospital with abdominal pain and Septic. ( Sepsis is when an infection starts to overwhelm the body’s defenses) He was consulted and didn’t show up until late afternoon. Ordered a CT routine- it wasn’t done for 24 hours, results on chart the following day. He never came back that I know of. So basically my sepsis progressed into septic shock due to the delay. He signed off the case when the surgeon was consulted. No follow-up even though I have obv... read more
