Do not give them your money. I signed up years ago for a free account. Several months ago they switched my account to one with a 12/m free. When i called them to get my money back, they would only refund 3 out of 4 months of fees. I had to sign up for paperless billing to get rid of the fee moving forward. I tried signing up twice and it errored both times so i went in to cancel my account and i found out that they took another $12 out since my account renewed yesterday. Total bs. They wouldn’t let me open a savings account and deposit bonds that I got from when I was born. My ID is in Williamsburg and my name and matched the bonds. The lady said that “she was trying to retire and stay out of trouble.” It was overall a very strange experience. I never had a bank turn away money… She actually wanted me to close my Chase account to sign up with them and I told them I would. She refused to open an account. Went to Chase and had no problem. So much for trying to bank local.
They nice but soooo slow. This has to be one of the slowest and under staffed (tellers) banks. The only fast and efficient person there, happens to be the only man there. If there is a line, you know the guy is not there. He literally holds the place together. Every time I go there, the women there literally doing nothing just walking around, while they have only one teller working most of the time, regardless of how backed up is the line. Does this branch even have a working bank attorney? The legal department is extremely slow for not difficult issues. Customer service is horrible. I think one of the job requirements for customer service is to be the rudest possible, then you will make employee of the year. WHERE IS YOUR BANK ATTORNEY?????!!!!!
I visited lately a few more times and its pretty good right now! *This is my old review from 6 months ago* terrible waiting time i waited more then an hour for costumer service, i got a parking ticket too when my meter ran out because the one hour limit. when i came in was only one slow working person in charge and 1 person in front of me in the waiting line and i waited more then a hour for a 1 minute visit. when i left was 6 people behind me imagine how long they waited... it is a good branch until you have to step in ... read more
