Dr. Lile is a good and through doctor. He's very pleasant and takes all the time is needed to check your eyes and explain whatever needs to be explained. He also has a good sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable.
I'm hearing impaired, and Dr. Denning is so tolerant and patient speaking loudly and clearly and making sure I understand everything before I leave. He's done two surgeries and several checkups for me. Easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor.
She was 25 minutes late to our appointment, didn’t apologize, told me I most likely had a autoimmune disease, didn’t explain follow up care, didn’t explain what she was doing while doing the exam, spoke to me like I was an idiot when I started crying, and ultimately didn’t diagnose me. Only found out she did give some type of diagnoses in my patient records when I requested them and waiting 30 minutes for those to be found because they lost them. Dr Horke was hurried and didn't want to waste time to listen to my eye issues. He didn't want to waste his time to care to check me for 5 family inherited eye diseases and was told to see an Optometrist instead of wasting his time. I have seen an Opthamologist all my life for my eye diseases. Dr Horke doesn't have the caring manner that Dr Nichols, Dr Weingarden and Dr Brown have all had at St Paul Eye Clinic.
I understand that times are different now with Covid and everything that is going on but my appointment today was at 11:45 AM and there were two other ladies in the waiting room and they both had appointments with Dr. Doane. One of them‘s appointment was at the same time as mine! I did not get into see the doctor until 12:40pm. No one came to me and said I’m sorry Dr. Doane is running behind or anything like that. After 7 other physicians and about to give up trying to get fitted for contacts, I was told about Dr Dixon. Explaining to him my previous experiences, Dr Dixon examined my eyes and PROMISED me if I stay with him and not give up he would get me in contacts. He taught me how to put them in, he put me in the first pair I actually could wear 2 weeks with 8 return times only tweaking them slightly to get them PERFECT, no additional charge. Wait time for him to come in was over 30 minutes. He didn’t have much to say except do all of a 5 minute examine. Put notes into computer and gave me my eye prescription. I asked him a question gave me the answer then I was on my way
Dr. Taylor was almost two hours late, breezed into the room and didn’t apologize for making me wait. He repeatedly interrupted and talked over me, was condescending, ignored my primary concerns, and did not explain the procedures he was doing. He literally told me to google the diagnosis he gave me rather than explaining it himself. He also thanked me for being a fascinating case study. This was the worst visit I have ever had I had to wait over an hour past the time I was suppose to see the Doctor. No explanation was given as to why it was taking so long. So I walk out. Then the front desk went back to check to see what happen and said the doctor could see me. So I reluctantly went back to see the doctor and he begins giving me a hard time for walking out and said that I lost my place in line and he had to interrupt seeing other patients to see me.
