Food was great and service and the ambience except having FOX news on TV the entire time? Come on? At an Indian restaurant I’d prefer my food without seeing politics especially one that’s racist leaning. Turn it off please
Server was slow and inattentive, had to flag other staff over for assistance. We were a party of 4 - two entrees came out first, the appetizer ten minutes later, one entree followed that, the last entree at least twenty minutes after the first two came out. Food was fine, definitely not authentic, unless you consider tater tots and sliced white bread Indian cuisine.
The food was ok and pricey. The flavors were not great
The service at this place is so bad for the price you pay they don’t even give you full size plates to eat entrees.
Service was really bad, 4 different people asked for an order, they didn’t serve drinks until the end we had to ask for it. The food was below average. Also, they missed serving one of the drinks, and when we paid the bill they came with rumali roti stating Did you get rumali roti?
Music was way too loud. Aunty could have had it at 1/2 where it was and it would have been the energetic, young vibe they may have been looking for. Service was really not very good. Lots of different people came to the table, dishes weren't cleared. I don't see it lasting long. They won't reach a broader clientelle unless Aunty turns down the volume and picks up the pace on service.
The food was good and spicy and a bit unique for the area. The cocktails were overpriced and it was way too loud to have a conversation. I think they need to work on the service as they try and push you out in 90 minutes but the orders take a long time to come out. The service staff was very nice and professional. I think they just need to work on timings.… And please turn down the music.
It was an ok experience. I feel lots of room for improvement in such a great space and location with limited competition in Boston!
Found a piece of hair in my butter chicken when I took the last bite
