Ambience and food was pretty good given the amount of time it’s been open. We were very disappointed when the host told us immediately that we only had 90 minutes for our dining time. This is not something you’d expect as a patron entering the restaurant and to be told right away that we had a time limit to dine especially when the waiter is not just assisting our table. He comes over for drinks, then moves on to another table. That alone was 15 minutes if not more. The food was good. The approach on managing the customers w... read more

Overall, Don’t Tell Aunty is more of a fun bar to go to with friends and pre-game prior to going out. The ambiance and atmosphere is lively with loud Bollywood music videos blasting all around the venue. The food quality is mediocre; portions are small, and the prices are a bit high. The okra fries and Goan fish curry are worth trying. But other dishes like the butter chicken and paneer were underwhelming because it doesn’t really contain full pieces of either chicken or paneer, respectively. I don’t recommend getting desser... read more

Fun spot with a bold vibe. It’s very loud, so don’t come expecting a quiet dinner. The food’s good—interesting takes on familiar dishes. Loved the decor, especially the tree centerpiece. Service was just okay—not bad, but nothing to write home about. Worth a visit for the experience.

We were very excited to try this restaurant. The ambiance was great but the food was not. The appetizers were ok but the main courses were way too spicy, could not even eat it, the paneer dish had a very small amount of paneer, it was mostly sauce, the naan did not seem fresh like I’m use to eating at Indian restaurants and the service was slow. Granted it was a soft opening, so I’m keeping that in mind, but overall I wil not go back as the prices are too high for the lack in quality of food.

Absolutely loved it. Each dish was amazing. The OG Butter Chicken was our favorite. Chai Felicia drink was lovely. Egg Puff was tasty as was the ice cream sandwich dessert. Will be back for sure.

Last night ( Friday 28th) was our second visit to your restaurant. My husband and I went two weeks again, sat at the bar, loved it and made a red for last night with our daughter and her husband. We were seated at a 4 top on the left just past the bar. We adore Indian food and have eaten at some great Indian restaurants in NYC/ London so we are super excited that you opened Don’t tell Auntie. Last night was disappointing - we had hummus, chips , kofta in sauce and gouging of fish with mint and tamarind sauces. All were Ok bu... read more

Food > Drinks >>> Desserts Too expensive and very small portions. But flavors are generally good.
