Soooo... I made a deal on a C6 convertible from Doug Henry Chevy in Farmville, NC. Paperwork signed, deposit given, insurance and shipping arranged. The salesman texts me yesterday that the deal is off and that the owner, Doug Henry, had sold the vehicle wiyhout anyone's knowledge. This morning, I see the car still for sale on FB Marketplace and "Tyler" states that they well sell it to me for $4000 higher than I made the deal for. If you are in the market for a car I would stay away from Doug Henry Chevy in Tarboro and Farmville. 4 years ago I bought a Equinox from Doug Henry in Tarboro. After 3 years I had to replace the whole engine and then other repairs totaling close to $8000 all of the work was done at Doug Henry of Farmville. Now they say my whole transmission needs to be replaced for $5300. They are not willing to do anything to help. When look at trading it in they wanted to offer me less than $2000. I purchased a new Malibu a few years back from them. Got it home and we had a rainstorm. It leaked and I ended up with not just 2 inches of water in the floor but electrical issues because the leak was in the pillar on the drivers side and it went onto the electrical harness. It would literally lock the car down with you in it. We reached out to them and they would only tell us to contact Chevrolet. They wouldn’t even discuss the issues.
