Chose to refinance for a lower rate however the amount of closing costs versus the amount that would have been saved by refinancing to a lower rate was minimal. Wish this would have been discussed when inquiring about the refinancing. Was also told it would be much cheaper for the process as we had just refinanced 6 months earlier. Chose not to close.

Better communication, better communication, better communication. I didn’t find out my closing day was likely to be moved until the night (5pm) before and I heard it through my real estate agent! Not Doug or Robert. It was like pulling teeth getting answers, and when I did, there was something else they’d have forgotten that they needed. This whole transaction felt very unprofessional, and as if no one cared about my loan or my personal life in regards to having to change my close date.

A lot of the process seemed disorganized. Having to repeat several forms. Not getting call backs or responses when we were told we would. And not just by Doug Davis - USA Mortgage. Personally he was fine. But also Robert Mogano and Justin. Even the real estate agent(s). It just seemed like we had to stay on top of everything / everyone to make sure the process went through on time. And we are not on the payroll. lol. The bottom line is everything got done on time but we were not totally satisfied.

My closing date got changed three times. The closing amount was changed without being told. Closing disclosure I signed said 1500 but got to Closing and day of the amount changed to 3000. Worst experience ever. Never again

Robert and Justin were great - very pleasant and kind, very helpful. Doug was nice to speak with but never really talked to me afterwards. He left everything up to Robert and Justin. He did not even come to my closing. We waited for him for over 20 minutes and finally after calling him a few times he called. He incorrectly figured out the mortgage and tried to blame it on my agent. I felt like he just blew me off. Because of his error, I owed the bank a cashier's check for $3400 . I wa

Began in mid October, was told could finish 11/29. Was told Dec 9th, nope. Dec 11th? no. Did not sign until 12/20. Funds released 12/26! After pd down cc to get best credit score possible, had no $ or CC for 12/25. Had to stop basement work. Throughout the process, I repeatedly checked in and fully expected things to be wrapped up soon. Expressed my concerns repeatedly. My email correspondence took time away from new job, the studies for my finals.
