Don’t recommend at all went in for basic neuter then he claimed he had a bleeding problem he developed a hematoma leading to a double surgery on the same day then the prescription given NSAIDS which is good for pain and inflammation has the side effect of being a blood thinner. This sounds counterintuitive to me. My dog is in so much pain now he won’t stop crying. Never had any issues or health problems with my dog prior to this surgery. Also with no option for overnight stay and recommend another place for emergency. I’m no... read more

Despite having an appointment, I was seen 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time, but I can understand that and looked past that. I know they only have one Vet, and I know they are doing their best. What I cannot look past is how I and my cats were treated once we were actually seen. I suspected one of my cats to have Tapeworm. The Vet tech was sweet, she did collect 2 fecal samples to check for worms. In order to be seen today, both of my cats had to receive a Rabies booster. Again, I understand and that's fine. Wha... read more

Use to be great, but now they choose Quantity over Quality, Do NOT tell clients to come in as a walk in if you're going to make them wait 2+ hours outside in the heat with their dogs, Do NOT make an appointment with a customer if you're going to make them wait 2+ hours AFTER their appointment time. If your customer has been waiting an hour, let them know ... hey it's going to be a little longer wait, don't let them just sit outside with their dog.... I'm so frustrated and dissappointed after being a customer for over 5 years... read more

Business response:

We greatly appreciate your feedback. However, we always make people aware when they come in as a Walk-In, there is no estimated wait time. This wait is not done purposely, but we are the only vet office in this area that takes walk-ins on a daily basis. We do this to make sure all pets in need will get seen by a veterinarian and have treatment instead of having to wait weeks for an appointment. The wait time is due to our existing appointments. When appointments wait, it is usually due to an extreme emergency such as a C-sec... read more

My dog almost died after having a tooth and a growth removed from her mouth. My dog continued to POUR blood out of her mouth for 4 days. We took her back out of concern TWICE and both time the doctor told us it was normal and we had nothing to worry about. Mean while she is literally covered in her own blood and our home looks like a murder scene. I just got back from dropping her off at the emergency vet where they said Bob Irelan completely messed up the removal of the growth and they’ll have to go in to correct it. Keep ... read more

Everyone, please take your pet elsewhere!!! I had a really bad experience with Dr. Bob. Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had at a Vet's office!! I saw a lot of good reviews and I wanted to get my son's lizard checked because of his lack of appetite and shedding, when I called to schedule an appointment they told me they see lizards. So I took him in that day as a walk in because they were booked?? We saw Dr. Bob and he wasn't even sure what type of lizard he was and was giving me the wrong info to care for him and a... read more

Long story short, Dr. V preformed and Eye Enucleation on my cat incorrectly. He only removed the eye and not the surrounding tissue which led to him having fluid build up. I was concerned and got the second opinion at a different Vet. Best choice ever. He had to have a second surgery, due to the first one not being done right. It has taken a month to get in touch with the Office manager, Veronica ( i believe her name is) and when i finally got the chance to speak with her she was very rude and unprofessional. I am seeking my... read more

Do not offer walk ins if you are too busy to see them and make them wait 3+hours to be seen. Do appointments only unless in an emergency. Or hire another vet and more staff that can handle busy.

Having taken my pets here for over 14 years, dealing with LONG waits (over an hour EVERY SINGLE TIME), I am done. A few days ago, my 14 yr old Golden Retriever suffered what seemed to be a stroke. He was vomiting and unable to stand or even hold his head up. We knew his time had been nearing and at that point we made the humane decision to euthanize him. We waited 2 hours for Dr Irelan's Office to open. Called at exactly 8 am and asked if they could see us. They said they were busy, but to come there, park in back, and take ... read more
