After many years of thinking about doing a tummy tuck and thousands of hours in the gym trying to fight it, I decided that it was time to do it. I thought it would be worth the time to outline a few issues that one may encounter post-facelift. While my doctor made me and my wife aware that I would be feeling emotional after surgery for a few weeks, possibly even depressed, I laughed it off. I had a Tummy tuck, lipo of inner thighs, knees, abdomen and flanks, and breast lift/ augmentation. I am two weeks out and I feel great! The first five days I stayed at an aftercare facility, which I highly recommend. I think I would have been nervous being home so soon after the procedure.i also had a drain in which the nurses took care of and I did myself until I had it removed at 7 days. My motivation to get this procedure done was because no matter how hard I worked out, the tummy was not going away :( I would do it all over again :) it seemed like a long time before I was back on my feet but I'm an inpatient person anyway. I'm at 4 weeks now my belly button still looks weird and I have some swelling but my doctor said it's all normal and that it looks great... Very happy so far
There was another doctor in orange county who almost did the necessary surgery on my arms and right after the pre-surgery appointment I cancelled because some how during the pre-op consult, he scared me right out of going through with it.
