I am a 52 year old male. I lost 172 lbs and have kept it off for close to 5 years and had lots and lots of skin issues. If I hadn't had hernias to repair also, I would've never done the tummy tuck and would never recommend it. But now that I'm healed, I can say it was worth it for me. My incision is still hard and not well approximated, but I just stopped packing on Jan. 15. I may have been a bit harsh on Dr. Moelleken given my horrible condition when I wrote my first review. Only pros. My motivation was that I felt so much younger than I was beginning to look. Wanted to do it before it was terribly obvious. Personal goal was to fell better and age gracefully. The outcome was beyond my expectations and has "aged" perfectly. Changed my life in that it helped me to fulfill my dreams of exercising to maintain a younger self. I did have complications but my doctor was my savior. Just the time it took to recover is something everyone needs to know in advance.
I had a lower facelift, neck lacing and laser resurfacing. I ruled out doing the life style lift not wanting to spend money and not have the results last.
I recently had a breast augmentation, implants and a tummy tuck with Dr Moelleken after losing 100lbs in a year.
