Very courteous and efficient staff, from front of office to PA's Dr. Ahmad obviously takes care in hiring. Dr. Ahmad himself was exceptionally caring and attentive. I could tell the office was always busy but never felt rushed, always felt that he was up to date on my specific issues, where I was in my recovery etc. and he answered all my questions simply and directly.

My son had ACL meniscus surgery on his left knee, March,12.2024. Since the surgery Dr. Ahmad saw him one time on his recovery process, my son plays division 1 baseball in charleston, south carolina. We set up an appointment 4 weeks in advance because we noticed some complications on his recovery process. My son traveled from charleston, south carolina to see Dr. Ahmad in New jersey, after waiting for more than an hour we get called to see Dr Ahmad we are waiting inside the doctor office around 7 minutes later we get the news... read more

Terrible Experience! I saw him for years with shoulder issues. He gave me too many cortisone shots, which I later found out can cause deterioration in the rotator cuff, in anyone, but especially me who has connective tissue disease, which he was fully aware of. I requested shoulder replacement, which he said was more invasive and convinced me he could repair my issues. He then 'fixed' my torn tendons & reattached them. Initially my left shoulder was somewhat better after some PT, & after 4 months he advised to do my other sh... read more

Dr Ahmad surgically repaired my rotator cuff. He did a good job explaining the surgery and is known to be a good surgeon. I developed stiffness and pain with decreased ROM after completing months of PT. He did one telehealth visit, recommended a treatment plan and then disappeared. No word from his office and they don’t return calls. They will tell you the doctor or his assistant Frank will get back to you but they won’t. After the pain significantly worsened I gave up and went to another surgeon. If you’re not on the NY Yan... read more

I'm sorry but this guy is an arrogant, inept diva - superstar I'm sure, but he still messed up my knee. First of all, if you dare mispronounce his first name - his receptionist will yell at you: "AMAUD, not Ahmed." Then he's sporting his Yankee ring, and tells us his wife wears Mets ring - lots of bragging about his superstar clients, and how eight members of his family went to Columbia, Ivy League. But he still messed me up; a simple procedure failed - months of physical therapy didn't help, and after a while he just said -... read more

Dr. Ahmad is a great doctor and i have had nothing but good personal experiences with him. On the other hand the office staff seemed to treat me like more of a number than a valued patient. While trying to receive a report for a surgery, i sent payment 3 times and had to stop payment on 2 checks to addresses that were given to me by the doctors office themselves. It has been over 2 months of trying to just send in payment to get the report and they refused to take a check in person. The level of care is high but you will NOT... read more

Dr. appears to be great. Staff that supports him sarcastic and edgy. First appointment over 30 days ago… Five follow up phone calls to get results all met with indifference. “Dr is traveling, what do you expect, we will forward a video appointment ” I got the bill, still waiting for the appointment … Life is short and my pain level is high, I’ll take my business elsewhere…

Overall extremely poor experience with the doctor's office. No follow-ups. Rude front office. Random calls from the office to reschedule and/or modify appointments. Secretary is the worst I have seen. On my initial visit I was in the office for close to 2 hours while I spent 90% of time just waiting for some paperwork or some assistant to come by. In fact, after the visit was asked to pay at the front desk. Once paid they kept calling non-stop daily through an automated system saying they want to talk to me. Once patched in ... read more
