I met Dr. Martin for the first time over a zoom call recently. I felt deep appreciation for his ability to be present with me. Active listening is the greatest act of kindness. He was highly skilled in organizing our hour together in order to deliver the highest quality of care possible. Stephon is exactly what i need for a partner in this. He clearly empathizes but doesnt harp on it and moves to meaningful statements or strategies which is what i need. I already know what im feeling and why. I appreciate a clinician who treats symptoms and sees through the haze of complicated feelings and emotions. I also like that he mentions personal experiences just enough to let me know he really gets what im dealing with as much as anyone can. This is a person whos found their calling
