I had my first in person visit today, checking in was a bit confusing at the Woburn location due to there being two office suites and appointment confirmation not stating which suite to go to. Once that was figured out, check in process was easy and appointment went well.

I felt like during my entire intake evaluation I was taking some sort of test for a judge. It seemed I wasn’t saying the right things for the doctor. I’ve never felt this way with a mental health professional before but it was very uncomfortable. It felt like the doctor did not want to hear anything I wanted to say nor did he seem like he wanted to do this in general. I actually swallowed tears at one point because I felt too uncomfortable getting upset in front of the doctor, in fear of being judged negatively.
