Dr. Shepherd is great...when you get to see him. 9 times out of 10, you are seeing a NP who is new to the practice and cannot figure a thing out for themselves. They are constantly calling in nurses/Dr. Shepherd to answer questions for them. Last time I went in, I waited over an hour and half to see the doctor after I had been taken back to the visiting room. He never showed up and the NP I spoke to gave me all of the wrong information and told me that she didn't know what my test results meant.
Our family has been going to Dr. Shepherd for over 20yrs and have been very impressed with his consistency and care. We have observed his practice both expand and contract to fit the various stages in life and really appreciate his family practice and focus. The expanded practice still has the same quality of care as when we met with him on each visit.
