We are extremely fortunate to have such a brilliant young surgeon in our area!! His PA Liam is also exceptional and there are no words to describe how fabulous his assistant Lisa is!! Dr. McVicker thoroughly reviewed my MRI with me and explained what my pain generator was. Thankfully the Cortisone shot completely resolved all of my symptoms but if they return I will be doing PRP to help heal my partially torn rotator cuff in addition to continuing strengthening with Physical Therapy. Dr. McVicker has impeccable credentials. I couldn’t be happier with my surgery. I also want to mention his entire staff, especially his PA (Liam)and his office manager Lisa. NEVER had an issue trying to contact his office and have my questions answered immediately. Dr. McVicker was willing to take the time to address my concerns, both during my appointment and just prior to surgery.

Since my surgery just over a year ago I am still having issues with hip pain. My condition was complex with labrium and glute tears not requiring a total hip replacement, which is a much easy recovery. Since the surgery through MRI imaging it has been noted there my be possible IFI impingement on the sciatica nerve which can cause hip issues. I've also had back issues with L5 surgery in 2020.
