Pre surgery procedures were perfect. Knowledgeable, courteous and professional staff made me feel very comfortable. Surgery went well experienced very minimal pain after, I was able to walk without crutches, very happy with outcome. I highly recommend Dr Mcvicker and his staff.
Biceps surgery
Dr. McVicker is the kind of doctor we all hope to have; caring, thorough, taking time to explain conditions and treatment options. I am a runner and developed 2 stress fractures in my right ankle. I had been continuing to walk on the ankle unknowingly that I had the fractures. Once an MRI was obtained and the realization of not 1 but 2 stress fractures, I was seen immediately by Dr McVicker. My appointments did not go well with Dr. McVicker. I have a complex case and history, my 2 appointments were rushed and without concern of looking into my chronic hip/pelvic pain. I have failed PT with dozens of therapists (aqua PT, pelvic floor PT, regular PT) and was told by Dr. McVicker to go back to PT and keep doing exercises. This was despite my complaints coming from my therapists and myself of increased level of pains with PT. I believe the term is medical gaslighting...
