I use 3rd party toner, but it's worth getting Brother drum units to keep best image quality I've had my Brother MFC 9340 CDW Color laser printer/scanner/fax for 5 or 6 years now, and it's been great. My 1st priority to keep costs down was to find a good 3rd-party toner supplier (I use EZ-Ink, and they've been outstanding). Just Like Original Drums I replaced all of my printer drums to correct streaks down the side of my printed pages. It must be noted that all of the drums, except the CK drum, are interchangeable. The drums did not fix my streak issue but were a nice update to my four-year old Brother printer. I strongly recommend these drums.

OEM is always a bit more expensive than generic products, but the manufacturer's product always works!

quality I replaced these drum units because the printer identified them as replacement due by a message on the printer. all were simple to replace however, now all the printed pages have a streak at regular intervals. not sure if it is the drums units but I didn't have this issue prior to replacing. I can only surmise I received a bad set.

Good Our old brother printer kept jamming and giving error messages. I did my best to clean the old ones. They just reached the end of their life, I guess. These are wonderful. No more problems with our printer since switching the old ones out with these.
Easy I have not had this issue with prior printers. Don't know why. Maybe I am making too many copies. I did find this easy to install.
