A good place to stay. Small, quaint family-owned inn. The room and property were clean and had nice views of the mountains. Easy location to find. Our family had a pleasant weekend trip.

The White House owners are lovely. The property is a bit older. However there is a specialness. Such as the herbs and plants growing along with the standard landscaping, which adds a warmth. If you want a down to earth simple accommodation, this is the place for you. It is well located. It has the basics. It is quiet and has a nice energy. We have been coming here for over 10 years and it is nice to see friendly faces each time we return~

The management is excellent. Many if not all 2d floor rooms have views of red rocks (but have to climb stairs), I can't tell if the first floor rooms have a view. Bonus that there is a window in bathroom (facing one direction, street), while sliding glass door faces other direction, towards red rocks. So, for people who don't like enclosed spaces, the ability to look out window in 2 directions, 180 degrees from each other, is a plus. Comfortable bed, and clean Nice location. A little out dated but, very clean. Only complaint would be hearing neighbors above, and besides. Bring ear plugs.

Everything was nice with the exception of the old hard mattresses. Waking up in the morning after a restless and uncomfortable nights rest is crappy. If it wasn't for that we would stay again, but not until it changes.
