There is a major problem with the mortgage industry's processes and their reliance on the FICO score to determine the interest rate and closing costs for borrowers. FICO is unable to read correction reports removing delinquencies from accounts. or corrected credit history from bureau reports pulled electronically to provide data for the FICO scores. Industry is relying on a broken algorithm to evaluate creditworthiness.
