Almost but not quite I'm going to cut to the chase. This scanner is great for basics but here's what I didn't appreciate about it. 1. Drivers were NOT made available by Brother. You will have to run an .exe in order to load the drivers instead of the .inf file being freely available. What does this mean? You are married to the manufacturer scan software instead of using a preferred software such as Windows Fax and Scan or importing into a graphics program. 2. Five Stars this thing scans faster than expected and even scanned some documents with staples still in them
I have used this Brother scanner a few times now ... I have used this Brother scanner a few times now. It is reallY small and works perfectlY. The B&W prints are just right. Storage is no problem at all either.
Easily scans documents and saves time Easily scans documents and saves time. It also does not take a lot of space. Much nicer than some other scanners I've used.
Good value and utility Works quire well. My only difficulty is that pages don't always go in straight. I have not tried the OCR features as they are not important to me. I would like the software to add to an existing PDF, but it only seems to build multipage PDF's at initial scan.
This is a great scanner, I needed it for a college class ... This is a great scanner, I needed it for a college class to upload PDFs, it has been nothing but wonderful. I highly recommend. I had it installed and working on my computer in 5 minutes. Best Scanner I ever have purchased. Awesome Product worth the money.
Perfect scanner This scanner works great. I received a printer with no scanner for Christmas and was worried since I do a lot of scanning. But this is perfect. I can use it and then store it in a drawer. Not another machine out in my office. It works great and showed up on time. I would recommend this product!
Jams frequently good for low capacity use, jams frequently, must manually guide pages, supports to hold pages in place are not adequate for more than 2 pages at a time. Wish I spent the additional money and got the 2800
Four Stars Works very well for cardmakers wanting to use it conjunction with a laser printer and laminator.
