It's very light. And doesn't take up much space at all. And this is quite good when trying to pack light. It also works great.
I had a lot of photos from when I traveled and I wanted to get rid of the paper and have the photos available electronically. I had so much fun scanning. The scanner was so fast and easy to use and is small and the compact design is very convenient.

Extremely portable and while the wifi isn't so efficient , just being able to store on your sd card and then view on ipad air via direct wifi connect or on your computer is awesome especially for a business that is document sign heavy!!!
