Was tossed between this and the Nice system. Glad I chose the Brother.
I absolutely love this thing! You don't have to be connected to your computer, you just turn it on and it scans right to the SD card (if that's how you want to use it), it scans in monochrome or color, jpg or pdf, one or two sided, it's WiFi, it shuts itself off, it has a rechargeable battery. Best Buy price matched my purchase at checkout, so I saved about $50. (cheaper online-their website).

Product does everything it advertises. I love that it scans both sides and that it utilizes wifi. Worth the money.
I love this scanner. Just feed pictures or document though and scan them straight to your laptop. I have been scanning old family pictures and the quality is great without the hassles of a flatbed scanner.
I was looking for a better way to organize my receipts and expenses. I had hoped the scanner would have such software installed but it did not. Even so, it is simple and convieniant to use.
Good quality of scanned documents, reliable and very practical (as you can move it around and scan w/o a computer).
