Using the same underwriter to review all documents. The entire loan process with AmCap was really unpleasant. Took over 6 months to get this to closing. CD with several mistakes over and over again. Always asking to resend updated documents because time lapsed on the previous information that was provided. Just awful. I've worked with 6 different mortgage companies and I have to say never was put through the ringer like this. Highly recommended by a friend and she couldn't believe it.

There was no platform or process explained, as far as what to expect or what we were expected to pay. The agent was nonexistent till the last steps of the refinance completion or until we were fed up with the lack of communication and mentioned we wanted to pull out. The experience was unpleasant to say the least.

Actually reading the information I sent. Not charging me for bullshit, especially bullshit that I provide (my own survey, and still being charged $175 for a survey). Dustin didn’t do shit. Communication with his team was pretty horrid. I will be actively telling ppl not to get loans with him or this company. Almost 10weeks to close. It’s fucking inexcusable.

I closed over a week late, my phone calls were ignored, I wasn’t asked for necessary information til last minute, will definitely not use them again if I buy another home. Always pleasant when I finally did get someone on the phone but communication needs improvement.
