Process was easy, things moved along smoothly and as a customer I didn’t have to do anything like search for many documents which I really appreciate. Process was easy!
Mostly went great. However, part of the conds to close was to pay down some revolving accts. We brought the cash to closing for the amts of the balances on the revolving accts (paid to the title Co), but then received cashier's checks from the title Co to then mail back as pmts on the accts (what/why?). The most frustrating part is that the checks were made out incorrectly, so we had to cover the balances anyway, while we waited for new checks from the title co. (out 2/mos pmts in 1 month!)
The ease, simplicity and expedience of the overall mortgage process was the best we have experienced from our prior experience with mortgage lenders.
I just completed a refinance loan. When I first talked to Nancy Bayat's team, I was assured the process would be fast and could close well before 30 days. I was able to close in about 2 weeks once the initial application was approved! I worked with Craig and throughout the process he provided timely communications and answered all my questions and concerns. He and the Loan Processor, Erika, were available to take calls or respond via emails. I definitely would use EMortgage again in the future
