Very quick to respond and provide detailed quote. I had chosen a light yellow paint that is not suitable for exterior application - EA worked with three different paint locations to find enough of the base to make my alternative shade work. House looks marvelous - even the neighbors stopped by to congratulate. I really appreciate the attention to detail and cleanliness of the painting crew.
They bid the job at ~$8K, and after I agreed to that, they came back a week later, and said they had underbid, and would need an additional $4K. Ridiculous. So, no, they did not do this job, as this was an awful experience that didn't get past the agreement to do the work for the original bid price. This company should have honored the original bid, and learned their mistake the hard way. I will recommend to everyone avoid this company for unethical business practices alone.
I asked to have the exterior woodwork preserved, somehow this came out to just the white paint. Flashy pamphlet and estimate. Job is half done, looks like I will have to complete it myself. Extremely overpriced for the work done. Look at the work order closely. The pressure wash was poor, again look like I will have to find time to complete, not what I had in mind. 2K for maybe 5 hours of work for three. Robert, I am sorry you were not happy with the experience. We try our best to be reasonable with pricing for every customer! You requested to paint all the trim on your exterior that includes, railings, door trims facia ECT, We charged you $1,790 plus tax. Please keep in mind we had to schedule a pressure washing date that took 2-3 hours to wash and then we had 3 people work almost a full day to complete all the trim work.
