Overpriced, gouging practice. Unprofessional as well. Closed on us after we called to ensure walk-in hours/availability on a Sat after sudden injury. Said 'overloaded with clients' yet only one person walked in with me. Waiting area was empty.
Very nice facility with caring staff. Smell was a bit overwhelming, but may have been the pets that were there at the time. Unfortunately, the cost was extremely overpriced so be aware before scheduling an appointment. Fee lists not available that I could find on their website. For our dog's limp, we paid: Office visit: $56.50 X-ray of right leg: $215.25 Meloxicam (anti-inflammatory med): $31.50 (for which I am aware that the cost to the average clinic can be as low as $5) Total cost of visit: $303.25
The Liberty location used to be Northside Animal Hospital. Dr. Cathy took care of all of my pets for years, and I found her to be not only a very good vet, but very reasonable when it came to her service prices. For whatever reason, she decided to sell her business and leave town. Her business, her choice. So...that left us looking for a vet when my 10 year old cat started peeing outside of his litter box for no apparent reason. I had read some reviews for Eagle, and everyone talked about how nice they were, and how reasonab... read more
TL;DR my dog is on lifelong medication for allergies and this vet drastically increased the price of his immunotherapy injections (that they do not administer nor provide the needles to us). There is only one manufacturer, so it's not a manufacturer's price hike. They care more about PROFITS than their patients. COMPLETELY DISGUSTING. I moved up from Springfield, MO with my two dogs in July of 2020. One of my dogs has severe allergies and has been receiving Allercept injections weekly since 2018. These injections are tailo... read more
I've been faithful to Eagle because I really enjoy chatting with Dr. Sparks and he seems to genuinely love my dogs. Strike one for me was the lack of availability of their groomer. My dogs had been regulars for a long time and one day upon checkout, their computer was frozen and I had to leave, so I called two days later to make the appointment and basically "lost my spot," so that was that. The groomer always had something negative to say anyways, so no love lost. Strike two was paying $100 per night for boarding withou... read more
My family has been a customer at Eagle Animal Hospital for 30 years. Unfortunately, in the last few years we have had multiple issues. My initial issue involved a tech who enjoyed gossiping about me to her coworkers who would then repeat that gossip to people I knew personally. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. My second issue was a day that my dog was suppose to be groomed, the groomer called in sick which is not an issue in itself. The issue became the fact that I was not notified on a day I had taken off work to... read more
Absolutely no compassion for animals. This place is the wal mart of veterinarians. Cram as many people as possible in there and refuse to deal with anything too complicated because their vets are not skilled enough.
If you want to help pay for the expensive renovation of the new facility, take your pet to Eagle. Ever since they renovated my bills from them have been absolutely ridiculous! There are much better places that charge less...Trust and know that they're overcharging on almost all their services!
